Dear Prayer Partners,
In times of prayer and Bible reading, we come face to face with the Living God. Considering how many times the Lord said "Fear not," to those who came face to face with Him in times past, it seems that fear is a reasonable response to make. What should our response be?
Paul, in 2 Corinthians 6: 16-17, makes it clear that holiness is the way to respond as he quotes Leviticus and Isaiah: "We are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
16 "I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people."
17 Therefore, "Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you."
As Christians we are not to be like the rest of the world. We are called to be different, holy, set apart. We will look at passages this month regarding being separate and holy unto the Lord.
